Margie Christie, Executive Director of Dayton Right to Life, will be the featured speaker for an evening information session, June 22nd, at 7:00 pm. In Kramer Hall (inside the St. Luke church building lower floor) light refreshments will be served. Life in its earliest and most vulnerable stages is threatened by groups proposing an amendment to the Ohio Constitution for the November 2023 ballot to expand and enshrine abortion through all 9 months, at the expense of protections for preborn children and women. It will supersede parental consent laws for all reproductive decisions, “not limited to” abortion, but including transgender treatments and surgeries. The Church accompanies and supports women facing unexpected pregnancies and mothers through programs like Walking with Moms in Need and through crisis pregnancy centers. Time to statewide unite in prayer and work to defeat this proposed amendment and its grave consequences for women and preborn children in Ohio.
